PRINCIPAL’S MESSAGE

The College is recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education, New Delhi, Government of Karnataka, from the Academic year 2004-05 to 2009-10 our college was affiliated to Karnatak University, Dharwad. And from the Academic 2010-11onwards affiliated to Rani Channamma University, Belagavi.

The Chikodi Taluka Education Society’s College of Education (B.Ed.), Chikodi. Dist.: Belagavi, Karnataka is Co-Education institution started by Chikodi Taluka Education Society (Regd.), Chikodi Dist.: Belagavi established in 1919. The College was established in 2004 with the motto to provide Educational facilities to the rural mass. The management has taken the pains to provide spacious Building, Qualified & experienced staff, well-equipped library, Educational Technology Resource centre, Science Resource centre, Computer Resource centre, Language Resource centre and Educational Psychology Resource centre as per the NCTE norms. The Chikodi Taluka Education Society established this institution to make it as one of the best & model Teacher Training Institute in the state, further it intend to develop the professional competence among prospective Teachers.

We are proud to say that, the students admitted to our institution with a rural background are doing well in their studies. They are participating very actively in all the Academic activities of the course. Every year our college students got University ranks from the college establishment year. Therefore College has famed good name and reputation for its quality of Teacher Education in this Educational District.

The college has established the number of cells to assist the student teachers in their future achievements and progress.
